The tanks ended up being in front of trump's presentation to make himself look better rather than intimidate attendees along the fringe. The area was fenced out to just VIP attendees, and the overall impression from folks on the ground was that it was a small turnout in the hundreds rather than thousands.
I've seen a number of atheists on Twitter openly question their lack of faith in the face of solid evidence that God exists and She's pissed at trump.
