If trump is too busy to tweet about Puerto Rico's financial woes before the hurricanes hit, the rest of us might actually try to do something about HELPING OUR FELLOW AMERICANS (yes, Puerto Ricans are citizens ever since 1917):
Charity Navigator
Florida Association for Volunteer Action in the Caribbean and the Americas
All Hands Volunteers
ShelterBox USA
Unitarian Disaster Relief
United for Puerto Rico
National Voluntary Organizations Active In Disasters (supplies)
Do take the time to make sure the charities you're donating to are legitimate and have a history of helping out.

As of this morning, there were 3,000 shipping containers of everything they need sitting on the dock because the roads are still impassable. They have finally ordered the USNS Comfort to sail there to back up the failing hospitals, where people have already died due to lack of power, but it will take it more than a week to get there.
This is an example of why it is that you need to think ahead and respond to disasters right away. These US citizens have been baking in 90 degree heat and slogging around in standing water for a week already.
But they are brown people who should probably be on the other side of Fergus' wall, as far as he and his awful, awful, fans are concerned, so I don't see them becoming too high of a priority any time soon.
