Schadenfreude doesn't cover this. Schadenfreude is less sociopathic and less hateful than what's required here. The pain and suffering associated with Schadenfreude is malicious yes, but the thing getting damaged is usually the person's pride, a much deserved rebuke by the universe, a joke played on the fool who didn't know better but doesn't deserve any greater pain than that.
This, this falls more under Karma. A serious rebuke instead of a humorous one. trump wanted to play politics with COVID? trump wanted to ignore the suffering of millions of infected, and thousands of our loved ones dead? trump wanted to mock our protections, deny us our medical aid, take away the masks that can help slow the spread of the virus? trump wanted to host massive gatherings at his rallies, bringing together so many people into super-spreader events?

OK, I actually do wish him a full and speedy recovery, so that he can lose the election fair and square and then go on to live long enough to serve at least most of his prison sentence, where, since he's already had it, he won't require any special accommodations to prevent him from getting the virus.
And Karma is really more destiny, but if you want a good example of the sort of poetic justice possibly on offer here, just how many Republican "Masque of the Red Death" senators would have to be quarantined in order to derail the confirmation of the handmaiden to the supreme court?
And please, god who I don't believe in, don't let Susan Collins be the deciding vote.

As much as I dislike thinking this way he will get his handmaiden approved.
After failing at literally everything he is tasked to do as president he will be fondly remembered by the death cult for the SCOTUS appointments. Economy in ruins, hundreds of thousands of lives cut short by incompetence, white supremacy rampant, laws broken and societal norms destroyed, etc, etc, etc.
I stopped watching the news upon learning that RBG passed away. How can such a viper like trump be rewarded yet again?
Our country has been revealed. Though I knew that there was injustice, hatred, racism, and general mouth-breathing cluelessness all around I remain slack-jawed by the true extent.
Our adversaries are well on their way to toppling this country.
