In short:
It's not that the Republicans are eager to lie about mass fake voting they can't even prove in the courts.
It's that the Republicans are eager to believe that massive numbers of voters - Blacks, Women, Youth, Non-Christian, essentially anybody registered Democratic Party - are Fake Americans, and will deny those "Fake Americans" their rights so that Republicans can stay in corrupt minority rule.
Every chance that trump's lawyers have had to prove in court that there's any coordinated nationwide effort to commit voter fraud, they've failed to prove that. They're following in the footsteps of Kris Kobach, whose constant court battles over the narrative that there's a conspiracy of fake voters ended in resounded defeats on the simple reality Kobach could never prove a word of it.
And yet, the Republicans will insist on that argument that the election results favoring Biden or ANY Democrat for that matter is fraudulent.
Because they are at the point they can never accept anyone else outside of their tribe as true Americans.
This is how dangerous the current Far Right Narrative has gotten.

Their argument kind of falls apart when they support the legitimacy of Republican candidates who won elections with the same goddamn ballots which they claim are fraudulent because they are also marked for Biden.

It has become a religion, or even worse, a cult. Their truth, as told by their leader is the only thing they believe. And when I talk about "they", I mean the majority of white Americans. Almost 6 out of ten voted for the supreme leader. 57% after 4 years of the most vile, racist adjacent rhetoric a president has ever produced. From shit hole countries to good people on both sides to go back from where you came to losers and suckers. And yet 57%. It's just sad. We aren't getting better, we are getting worse. When people speak of the better angels of our nature, even without acknowledging it, they are speaking of people of color. Without their overwhelming support, we would be shackled with orange ogre for life.
The quasi religious appeal to save all that is good and white in this country, works extremely well. The so called southern strategy, which preys on the fear of white America, was thought to be dead after Obama, but it was actually a wake up call to so many. We now know that an appeal to strictly white Americans can get you 73 million votes. Good help us all because the cult is growing.
